Meet Dr. Henderson
Marlon D. Henderson, DDS is a native of Shreveport, Louisiana. He is a graduate of Northwood High School. Dr. Henderson matriculated to and graduated from Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge with a Bachelor of Science degree. He received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center School of Dentistry in New Orleans, Louisiana. Dr. Marlon D. Henderson then completed a General Practice Residency at the Medical Center of Louisiana (Charity Hospital) in New Orleans, where he served as Chief Resident.
Since returning to Shreveport, Dr. Henderson has delivered numerous keynote speeches and participates in many community organizations and projects. He is the Basileus (President) of the Rho Omega Chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Incorporated. He is the Ninth District Omega Undergraduate Advisor Overseer for Louisiana. Dr. Henderson is also Second Vice-President of the Martin Luther King Community Development Corporation. Most importantly, Dr. Marlon Henderson is a faithful member and assistant clerk of the Goodwill Missionary Baptist Church.In 2011, Dr. Henderson was selected to be the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. Superior Service Award Nominee from the Rho Omega Chapter. In his spare time, Dr. Marlon D. Henderson enjoys listening to live and recorded music. His newfound challenge is learning to play the alto saxophone. He is an avid LSU, New Orleans Saints, and New Orleans Hornets sports fan!
